Benefit 08 - Call Back
The call back feature is designed to save users time!
A good example of where this function could be of most benefit is when a colleague is on the phone and you need to get a message through. You can dial their telephone extension number and when you get a busy tone, set a callback. When your colleague has finished their call, your phone will start to ring. If you then lift your receiver you will be directly connected. If you happen to be on the phone at the time, the system will wait until both parties are free before generating the call back.
How to use this benefit
1 – Dial the extension number
2 – When you receive busy tone, if you have a display phone you will get a visual message that says CBK. To set the feature you simply press the soft key directly below CBK. If you have a non display phone when you receive busy tone you dial 44.
Please note that if you use voicemail, depending on the type of forward that you have setup this feature may not work. This will only work on a NO Answer forward.
