The feature Do Not Disturb effectively stops your handset from ringing. Any internal or external callers who try to contact your extension will receive a busy tone. Internal callers who have a display on their telephone, have the ability to see that the extension they are calling is on DND via a visual message. Also any internal extension number which has an extension button programmed up for your extension on their phone will get a flashing light as an indication.

 

Users who have voicemail can also have an option to send their phones to voicemail when on Do Not Disturb.
